Have you noticed a large number of emails you are sending are soft or spam bouncing? The size of your images may be the cause of this. This article explains how to add an image into a Force24 email in a way that will help reduce bounce rates.
When uploading an image into an email template, you will get the option to either drag and drop it in, or to click to select which file you want to use:
If you choose to drag and drop an image into the email it will upload onto the template like this, which looks fine in the email editor.
However, when clicking the edit image button;
We can see the size of the image, and it may be the case that your image is too large. In this instance for example, the image dragged and dropped in was 4000px wide.
If you send an email with an image this large, your emails will be much more likely to bounce as the image being hosted in the email, will be a much larger file size.
The image size should be reduced, and to ensure that the image isn't blurry we would recommend making the image no larger than 600px wide.
After you have changed the size of the image, if you click the circled button below, this will ensure the whole of your image is cropped into the email.
When doing this, your image will be of a higher quality resolution in the email and it may help with your deliverability rate.
