When making a journey, the enrolment settings will determine how often contact go through the journey
When creating a journey, you will be redirected to a screen where you will get to choose which enrolment settings you want to use for this journey:
The top option which is selected in the above image means that a given email can only ever go through a journey one time. And once this email address has gone through the journey, they will never go through it again.
You can choose for contacts to go through the journey more than once though, and if you want to do this there are two options in term sof how you can do this. The first is specifying that contacts can go through a journey again a certain number of days since they were last added to the journey:
Here contacts will be added to the journey by meeting the start audience criteria, and then 3 days later if they still meet the start audience criteria for the journey, then they will be added to the journey again. When using this option, it is important to note that contacts could potentially end up being active in a journey multiple times at any given time, as they do not have to end their journey for them to be added again when this enrolment setting is selected.
The second option for allowing contacts to go through the journey more than once, is saying they can be added a certain number of days since they last completed the journey:
In the above example, contacts will be added 3 days after they reach an end journey component in the journey, if they still meet the start audience criteria.
