To get the most out of the Force24 platform, you will need to install the tracking script. This will allow you to get insights into the web activity of your contacts and allow you to trigger more personalised and relevant emails to your contacts.
Getting your Tracking Script
From within the home page of the platform select 'Website Management' from the menu options.
Select 'Create New'
Complete the following details relevant to the website you wish to track:
Name This is the name of the site you are managing (you can add multiple websites to track if required)
Domain is the URL of your website.
NB: Please note that if you copy the URL from a browser it will also copy the HTTP information which will be rejected by the platform. You must remove HTTP:// or HTTPS:// and any trailing forward slashes

The other yes/no options are explained below. We recommend leaving these as YES to get the most out of the tracking script.
Enable cookie tracking: Allows the script to set a cookie when the user lands from an email or fills in a form (see How to capture external forms with Tracking Script (v3)) which will then allow you to see this users activity on your site.
Enable Auto Id Tracking: If a user lands on your site that is unknown this allows the script to track their activity and then if in the future they become a known user (via filling in a captured form or landing via an email) associate this activity with them.
Enable Anonymous Tracking: Tracks activity of unknown users.
Enable External Links Tracking: This allows the script to attempt to detect and track external links and track these as visitors exit to these sites.
Once this information is added you will be directed to the following page where you can retrieve your tracking script and place it on your website.
Click Get Tracking Script which will provide you with your tracking script
NB: This tracking script is personalised for the website you just created so if you wish to get a script for another website the process must be repeated.
Simply click 'Copy' and insert it onto your website.
Inserting the tracking script onto your site
Depending how your site is built or the system you are using this can be done in many ways. We recommend installing the script on to your site before the closing </body> tag on every page of the site.
In most cases this just involves pasting the script into your header component as this will be on every page already.
If you are already using the previous tracking script (v2) you will need to replace this with the new script.
Once the script has been added you will need to return to the platform to validate that the script is in place. If this is not done the script will not function.
To do this open your site in website management then click 'Setup Tracking Script' then the tab 'Verify' here you can click 'Verify Setup' this will scan the website to check the script has been installed correctly.
If it is verified you can then push the changes which will activate your tracking script.
