It’s easy to create a post! Once you are logged in, simply click the "Create Post" button in the top left corner

When you’re creating a post, you are simply adding content to the SoAmpli dashboard for all colleagues to see. Please note that only “amp’d” (or approved) posts can be then shared externally. Admins and amplifiers are the ones who can create amp’d posts or approve existing ones.

If you wish to share your post immediately to your social accounts, you can select from your connected profiles at the top of the Create Post window.

This will then give you different caption boxes for each of the accounts/platforms you are wanting to post to, with the respective word counts in the bottom right hand corner.

Add A Link

To add a link to your post, simply copy and paste it in the “Create a post” box. When you click the space bar after it, SoAmpli automatically changes it to a unique shortened link, allowing you to track the reach and interaction of your content.

Add An Image

Images are proven to hugely increase engagement on social media so why not add one to your post?

All you need to do is click on this section "Please upload your image here" which will add the image to the Media Centre.

Add Video or Document

To add a video or PDF document to your post, you must first upload them into the Media Centre.

Once they are available in the SoAmpli Media Centre, you can add them to your post via the paperclip or camera icons in the bottom left here:

This will bring up your files or videos in the media centre for you to select and attach to your new post.

Once selected, the attached file will appear at the bottom of your post caption:

Add A Tag

The more people there are on your company’s platform, the more content there’ll be for everyone to share. But to make sure everyone can find exactly what they’re looking for quickly, you can tag posts. Tags are labels you can attach to your posts internally to quickly show what they’re about.  They are clickable and searchable and help you filter out content based on subject.

Assign A Channel

When creating a new post, you may want to think if it fits any of the channels on your company’s SoAmpli. You can assign your post to any channel you follow by clicking the 'Choose a channel' button and selecting the relevant option.

Please remember that all posts assigned to a specific channel will also appear in the main “All channels” feed, unless the channel you are selecting is private.

Add A Note

You can also add a note to your post. A note is an internal comment that won’t be seen outside the SoAmpli platform. Notes are great if you have any comments about your post that you’d like colleagues to see, but don't want it seen externally.

Edit A Post

To edit a post, click on the three little dots at the bottom of the post.

Click the 'Edit' button and you’ll be able to alter the content. Please note that once a post has been shared outside SoAmpli, any edits made within SoAmpli will not automatically change on the external post. To edit the post after it has been shared, you must do so in the respective personal social channel.

Don’t forget - click the 'Update' button after making your changes!

Advocates can only edit/delete their own posts, while amplifiers and admins can edit/delete other users’ posts as well.

Delete A Post

To delete one of your posts, click on the three little dots at the bottom of the post.

When you delete a post from SoAmpli, this will not automatically delete it from an external social media page. To do that they must be deleted through the respective website.

Advocates can only edit/delete their own posts, while amplifiers and admins can edit/delete other users’ posts.

What is the difference between "Post" and "Post and Share"?

By "posting" you are only adding the content to your feed in SoAmpli, making it available for other users to see and "share" to their own social media accounts. "Posting" on it's own does not put the content anywhere other than SoAmpli, to do this you would have to "post and share" and select the relevant social accounts you wish to "share" to.
