AI tools can be a powerful assistant for your marketing needs, however, the quality of the responses largely depend on how well you structure the prompt given.

There are a few basic rules that can be followed to ensure that you get the most out of the AI tools.

1. Be Clear and Specific, and include Context: AI works best when given precise instructions. Vague prompts can lead to generic or off-target responses. Try to make sure the prompts contain as much information as required; assume the AI assistant has no prior knowledge of the topic you're discussing to ensure you're being detailed with your question and/or request. By specifying a focus, objective, and output request, you ensure a more relevant response.

2. Specify tonality: When using the OpenAI feature, you are given the option to include your wizard information, this will guide AI to use your tone and the brand persona. If you opt out of using this, try to provide examples on how it can emulate your desired outcome. For example, 'write a product description for a high-end smartwatch, similar in style to Apple’s product pages. Highlight its sleek design, health-tracking features, and seamless integration with other devices.'

3. Set word limits or response lengths: To control the conciseness of your response depending on the nature of the request, try to specify what your word limit is for the response. For instance, 'In 100 words, describe the impact of ____'. This can prevent overly long responses.

4. Avoid Ambiguity: AI can often interpret words literally, so try to avoid statements and phrasing that might be ambiguous.
