You can now automate ZapPost direct mail from your Force24 account using Apps in Journeys.


In order to send a ZapPost direct mail within a journey:

  • In your Force24 account, navigate to Journey manager.
  • Click the name of a journey to edit an existing journey. Or click new journey to create a new journey.
  • In right hand panel, drag and drop ‘Apps’ onto the journey builder grid.
  • You can then select the ‘ZapPost’ app to begin using; the component can be used to send a pre-made direct mail campaign from within a journey to contacts triggered.
  • You will be prompted to name the action, and label your ZapPost connection; or select an existing connection if you have already used this within apps in journeys.
  • If you have never used the ‘ZapPost’ app before within journeys, you will need to authorise your connection. You can do this within the ZapPost app by:
  1. Navigate to the settings menu from the top of the ZapPost dashboard on the Zappost website.
  2. Access 'API Consumers' from left-hand panel menu.
  3. Note down the Api Key and Password by clicking on the copy icon beside each of them.

  • Navigate back to your Force24 journey and input your API key and password within the spaces provided.
  • Once this has been confirmed, you can select or create a new zappost connection
  • Choose from your existing templates built within your ZapPost account, as well as when this should be scheduled for from the drop downs provided. 
  • You will then be prompted to map the fields from within the ZapPost app, to Force24 fields. Most fields will be pre-mapped, but may require you to check and change if required.
  • Once this final step is complete, you can add the component to the journey to begin.
