You can now automate the addition of new contacts into your Google Ads audiences from your Force24 account using Apps in Journeys.


In order to send a contact into a google audience list within a journey:

  • In your Force24 account, navigate to Journey manager.
  • Click the name of a journey to edit an existing journey. Or click new journey to create a new journey.
  • In right hand panel, drag and drop ‘Apps’ onto the journey builder grid.
  • You can then select the ‘Google Ads’ app to begin using; the component can be used to add contact/s to an audience within your Google Ads account.
  • Once you select the Google Ads option, you will be asked to name the action, as well as give the new connection a name. This is so you can manage what campaign this may be linked to within your Google Ads account.
  • If you have never used the ‘Google Ads’ app before within journeys, you will need to authorise your connection. A pop up will appear allowing you to input your google ads credentials, or if you are logged into your admin account, you will be able to select from the list provided. 
  • Once you have successfully logged in, you will be able to select which Google Ads customer you would like to use from the dropdown. If you only have one within your account, please select this.
  • After selecting this, you will be able to see existing user lists within your Google Ads account to select from. You can choose to use an existing list from this dropdown, or alternatively, click the '...' icon to add a new list, or view lists in Google Ads (which will direct you to your google ads account).
  • After you have added these details, you can add the component to your journey, and choose other rules for how/why contacts filter into the ad list. Read more about journeys here.
