A data upload imports contacts, while a marketing list organises contacts for marketing use. Creating or linking a marketing list ensures your contacts are ready for campaigns and automation.
When you upload an Excel file with contact data into Force24, you are adding those contacts into the system. However, this process does not automatically create a marketing list unless you choose that option during upload.
You can upload contacts directly into a marketing list by selecting this option during the upload. For detailed steps, see How to upload your data.
If you have already uploaded contacts without creating a list, you can create a marketing list afterwards from the completed upload. Instructions are available in How to create a marketing list from a completed data upload.
